It's finally up for pre-order! The legendary 1968 ninja series series that gave the world this meme:
The rest of the show IS that brutal, actually. It's the time of Tokugawa's war of domination. Sasuke is the son of legendary ninja Daisuke Ozaru, who he hasn't seen in ages. When his mother is assassinated, Sasuke assumes he's an orphan, when a kind wandering traveler takes him in. But it's actually his dad in disguise... and he's going to turn Sasuke into a world class ninja.
What's more, we found the never-before-seen English dub for the entire series! All 29 episodes, subtitled for the first time, will be out October 14.
When you pre-order, might I suggest also throwing in a copy of Sword of Desperation? It's going out of print, so it's only $4.99 for the Blu-ray and $2.99 for the DVD, while supplies last.
ALSO! We have a new episode of The Anime Business, and it's a big one. Andy Frain, the original founder of Manga Video/Manga Entertainment, the company whose ludicrously sweary dubs pushed anime briefly into the mainstream across England and other countries back in the 90s.
If you want more Manga Video goodness, our paid members get a bonus interview with Bruno Tilly, designer of the iconic Manga Video logo and most of the original boxes (which used original art!). Check out our paid supporter plans today!
For those of you who will be attending Anime Expo in a few weeks, we will be having our first AX panel on Thursday morning at 10:30! If you happen to already have your badge by then, come say hi! We'll have giveaways and lots of behind-the-scenes discussion!
Have a great weekend, and as always, thanks for your support!

Do you guys have any info on who produced Sasuke's dub? There was a single episode VHS release in the '80s (Sasuke The Ninja Boy / Kiko-Boy Ninja) with very amateur voice acting, but it's all a mystery.
