MediaOCD is group of video and media nerds who care deeply about
movies, music, TV series and other media.
We specialize in preservation and restoration for the collector's market.

Our Story
Founded in 2011 by industry veteran Justin Sevakis (founder of Anime News Network), MediaOCD's initial goal was to assist smaller anime and indie film distributors with technically challenging work such as DVD and Blu-ray production and DCP (Digital Cinema) creation.

After over a decade and 1,300 retail Blu-rays for companies like Discotek Media, NIS America, CJ Entertainment and many others, MediaOCD got the opportunity to become a boutique publisher, ourselves, with the acquisition of AnimEigo, the first anime publisher in North America, and the foundation of Whole Grain Pictures for independent and foreign cinema.

Frequently Asked Questions - Store
Stuff having to do with orders placed here, fulfillment, shipping and returns.
What's your return policy?
If it's unopened, and it's within 30 days, we'll take it back for a refund. E-mail help@mediaocd.com for more info. Shipping costs cannot be refunded.
Open defective or damaged items can be returned for same-item exchange only. The 30 day limit applies.
Why can't you ship certain items to certain countries?
We are the actual licensed publisher for most of the items we carry. As such, we are bound by our contracts to only sell within the countries covered under our agreement with the show's producer. Sorry. You can try to find it at another store that might ship internationally.
Where do you ship from?
Our warehousing and fulfillment is handled by Fulfyld, Inc. in Madison, Alabama. However, the stuff we manufacture is from all over. (Most are made in the USA.)
Do you offer split shipments?
Unfortunately this is not currently possible with our software – one order will go out in a single shipment, and will be held until all items arrive in stock.
Why can't I use more than one coupon code per order? Can you combine orders?
Unfortunately this is not currently possible with our software. Hopefully this feature is added at some point.
