Let's start with the headline news. Hotori: Simply Wishing For Hope is FINALLY up for pre-order!

We're VERY proud of this one. Hotori was a TV special that aired on Animax way back in 2005, and has never been released on video before – even in Japan. But its story was unforgettable, and when we saw it was available, we POUNCED on it. A thought-provoking sci-fi drama about the nature of memories, Hotori has been given a BRAND NEW English dub (courtesy of SkySet Entertainment), and an AstroRes upscale. It is not to be missed. We'll have a trailer coming soon, but in the mean time, here's the preorder link!

NEW LICENSES

MediaOCD is proud to announce the following new licenses. All three will be released on Blu-ray for the very first time later this year:

Master of Martial Hearts (A.K.A. Zettai Shougeki: Platonic Heart)

Funimation once marketed this as a T&A show, but it's far weirder than that. In fact, it gets UNCOMFORTABLY dark by the end. Tongue fully in cheek, it's a camp classic.

Meanwhile, we've just wrapped production on the Blu-ray, due out March 10. Unbelievably, we've managed to cram OVER TEN AND A HALF HOURS OF BONUS FEATURES onto the disc. I am personally extremely proud of the new interviews we taped with my old friends in the troupe, which took on a poignant note as we remembered our dear friend, WKUK founder Trevor Moore. I can't wait for you all to see it.
