Black Friday, Big Boobs

Greetings! I'm writing this from Japan – not Tokyo, and not even Honshu (Japan's main island), but rather Naha, the main city in tropical Okinawa. Because even a workaholic maniac like me needs to decompress after the wall-to-wall meetings of TIFFCOM. And yet, here I am, writing a work blog.
Oh, I can't help myself. For I bring news of forthcoming delights and frivolities!
First, we have some big new pre-orders going up, starting with our very own new 4K restoration of the classic (ahem) 1990 direct-to-video film Big Boobs Buster! We're still hard at work on said restoration, but we'll have a lot more to say and share about this one in the coming days. It comes out Feburary 10... just in time for Valentine's Day!

Then, we have a new round of Discotek preorders, all due out on December 30.
That new Digimon collection is big stuff. You know what else is also big? Looking at the Full Moon! The second half is now shipping, bringing the story to a close for the first time in North America.

We've been very busy prepping for this year's Black Friday sale. What do we have in store? Half off selected MediaOCD releases, PLUS a big smattering of Discotek closeouts. We can't wait, and hope you can't either! The sale will run from late Thanksgiving night all the way through Cyber Monday, but some of the closeout items will be in very limited quantities, so we suggest you get there early.
Some other quick updates for you...
Also, ICYMI, our interview with animation historian and Streamline Pictures co-founder Jerry Beck is among our most popular interviews!
The first reviews of SASUKE are starting to come in! Inside Pulse calls it, "Extremely addictive... The excitement and even emotions within the episodes haven’t diminished. Sasuke is the perfect show for old and young anime fans to enjoy together."
Black Jack: The Complete OVA series is now 3 discs instead of two, to accommodate all of the bonus features. The 4x3 SD versions have been restored to remove dot crawl from the old composite D2 masters. It should start shipping in the next couple of weeks.
Thanks for all your support, and never hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

Have fun in Okinawa, Justin!
