Hey guys, good to see you again. Thanks so much to all of our new customers and site members. We have a trio of exciting things to share with you all.
Remember this one? This lovely comedic slice-of-life series from 2007 about a timid girl finding her tribe of weirdos in art club was released on DVD by Nozomi years ago, but has never been seen in HD until now. Featuring the work of supervising director Junichi Sato and screenwriter Mari Okada. It comes out August 11 on Blu-ray. Preorder it today!
NEW WEBSITE!!
For some other exciting news, we've been hard at work on a brand new website! We're QUITE aware that the current one is a bit janky (I threw it together in a few days back when I bought AnimEigo 2 years ago, never expecting that the web store would become such a huge part of our business).
Our new design will be a huge upgrade, featuring faster navigation, better search, and much more flexibility as we grow. After the relaunch, look forward to exciting features such as searchable tags (including genre, director and more), creator spotlights, and much more.
The website swap is currently scheduled for May 1 (subject to change). The site should only be down for a few hours. We will transfer all user data, order history, and all of your points. Something will INEVITABLY go wrong, as these things go, so once the switchover happens, please give us some time to make sure everything is in order, and reach out to us if you see something incredibly amiss.
I'm sure you've noticed a handful of Sentai Filmworks titles trickling into the store. We'll be continuing to grow our selection in the near future. There's lots to look forward to.
