Prime Rose, TIFFCOM, and more!

Hey everyone, been a while! How are ya?

Things have not slowed down one bit over here at MediaOCD. Our newest acquisition, Prime Rose: A Time Slip of 10,000 Years is now up for pre-order!

Prime Rose is a can't miss piece of daring sci-fi from the late, great Osamu Tezuka. Although not well known, Prime Rose was a feature-length TV special that aired in 1983.

How we ended up with Prime Rose is an interesting story. Nascent dubbing studio SkySet Entertainment bought the rights, and dubbed it themselves (and did a pretty great job at it, I might add)! However, they didn't quite have the experience with Blu-ray and distribution to pull off a full release. A number of fans were unhappy with the final product, which was a recordable disc with video at 720p resolution.

When we realized just how good the show (and dub) was, we were able to quickly come to a deal to distribute the show and its new dub. It's up for pre-order now, and street date is January 20, 2026! (If you're one of the handful who bought the original release, you can upgrade yours at a special discount here!)

While we're on the subject of Tezuka, the Black Jack Complete OVA series is also available for pre-order. We just put up a new trailer for that, check it out!

A little bit of new news about Black Jack. We had too many extras to include on two discs, so we bumped the disc count to three! Disc 1 will have episodes 1 to 6, disc 2 will have episodes 7 to 12, and disc 3 will have episodes 1-7 in newly restored 4:3 SD, interviews and other bonus features, many of which have never been translated before!

We didn't post about it last month, but we have some more Discotek pre-orders in the store, including the Complete Collection re-releases of Hajime no Ippo and Galaxy Express 999 TV Series! Plus, there's the new SD-BD release of Android Kikaider 01, and the bizarro Takeshi Miike musical, The Happiness of the Katakuri's! Those are all out November 25th.

October was such a huge pre-order month for Discotek titles that we ran out of allocation for a few of them, and have temporarily stopped taking new orders until we know when the reprint is coming. Thanks for your patience!

We've been hard at work with the store, beefing up our inventory coming into the holiday season. We are proud to announce that we will soon start carrying selected Media Blasters titles. Plus, since most of us will be watching our spending this holiday season, we will have an avalanche of new Discotek closeouts in time for Black Friday weekend. Look forward to it!

We're getting ready for our annual trip to TIFFCOM, the big content trade show in Tokyo so that we can do some more deals and bring you more great classic anime and movies.

I'll leave you this month with a teaser image, an early screenshot from our new 4K remaster of Big Boobs Buster. I don't think anybody is ready for this one.

Thanks for your support, and see you soon!

Detailed and practical, this guide explains concrete rebar in a way that feels approachable without oversimplifying. The step by step clarity is especially useful for readers new to the subject. I recently came across a construction related explanation on https://hurenberlin.com that offered a similar level of clarity, and this article fits right in with that quality. Great شيخ روحاني resource. explanation feels practical for everyday rauhane users. I checked recommended tools on https://www.eljnoub.com

Using technology to increase access to youth mental health support may offer a practical way for young people to reach guidance, safe-spaces, and early help without feeling overwhelmed by traditional systems. Digital platforms, helplines, and apps could give them a chance to seek support privately, connect with trained listeners-orexplore resources that might ease their emotional load. This gentle shift toward tech-based support may encourage youth to open-up at their own pace, especially when in-person help feels too heavy to approach.

There is always a chance that these tools-quietly make support feel closer than before, creating moments where help appears just a tap away. Even a small digital interaction might bring a sense of comfort. And somewhere in that space, you…
