It's here... Full Moon Vol. 1!

Big day over here. Lots of updates.

First and foremost, at long last, Looking for the Full Moon (Full Moon o Sagashite) Volume 1 is up for pre-order! This is the first half of the show (26 episodes) with a brand new AstroRes upscale! It comes out August 12.

At long last, the classic shojo cancer idol series gets a new life in HD. The new upscale turned out fantastic, and we think people will be very happy to get it.

But if you were holding back because you wanted a complete English dub... well, wait no longer. We are delighted to announce that the lost dubs to the ENTIRE series, including the never-before-released eps 28-52, HAVE BEEN FOUND!!! They will be making their debut on Volume 2 for the very first time!

But wait, we also have one more new title to announce... and you have DEFINITELY never heard of this one because it's a brand new movie!

Also coming out on August 12, we have a new documentary from our friend Mye Hoang, entitled 25 Cats From Qatar... and it's an absolutely gorgeous and moving film, especially if you're a cat lover.

What's it about? Well, in Qatar, there are over three million stray cats, and almost no meaningful veternary care. Many of these cats are in very bad shape, having been abandoned pets with no surival skills. When the owner of a Milwaukee-based cat café learns this, she takes it upon herself to bring as many of them as possible back with her to Wisconsin to nurse them back to health and find them "forever" homes. But with no government support, it's a constant race against time to save their lives.

We'll have a lot more to say about this film in the coming months. You can pre-order today, however.

FINALLY, we have an incredible new episode of The Anime Business for you!

Meet our old friend Peter Tatara. From his start at CPM, Peter went on to work at ReedPOP building New York Comic Con, and then AnimeNYC. He's one of our favorite people, and he's full of wisdom.

Also this episode features our new trailer for Remi that is meant to invoke some serious mid-00's AMV feels.

Hope you have an amazing weekend!

Man! This is such great news on the Full Moon dub. You hinted at some good news coming up on this on the last livestream and I was hoping like hell that the full dub had been found. I didn't see anybody else pick up on the hint though, so I kept my mouth shut about it so as not to get people's hopes up.

Thank you so much for picking this show up and finally completing it for us. I don't think anybody else would've bothered or cared. Between this and the upcoming release of Remi, finally giving us blu-ray releases of all three of the old ImaginAsian MOD licenses, you're like Sam from Quantum Leap, but for anime.

Unfortunately, Viz still has the rights to Hikaru No Go, so unless something provokes them to re-release it on Blu-Ray, it might remain streaming/DTO-only for the foreseeable future. I think both the dub and sub are available on iTunes/Apple TV.

Corrector Yui is a good one. As you mentioned, they only got 16 episodes out, which is an odd amount. Given it seems to have been recorded in the Philippines, I imagine it wasn't the most expensive of dubs to have been potentially shelved. The thing is, who knows where those materials are now.
